Weekly Writing Inspiration #14

It’s Friday again and so with that in mind let us celebrate with some moderate to light humour in the form of partially inspirational but always fun memes…

The nap is and always will be an institution for me…

I feel as if only certain generations will get this one…

YouTube are really grinding my gears at the moment with the double advertising and then being torpedoed with built in sponsors….

Isn’t that all of us? And if you didn’t get the memo, wear a mask!

2020 has been a pretty awesome voyage of discovery in both reading and getting to know some of you. Long may this continue…

Inspirational writing moment of the week comes from this wonderful review posted by awesome blogger and big time supporter of my stuff Nicole from Mullen Crafts – a blog that you totally should follow and support, go now….

I reckon the trick is to not have a day off. I don’t think there has been a day where I haven’t been doing something bloggy or writer for a long time…

Okay I went there, but it’s true, damn true…

Well I don’t think it gets better than a duck in a hat so that is where I shall hang my hat and finish this here post. Thanks for tuning in, see you in the next one!

It’s that time again to share memes with a hope you find something partially inspirational…

I laughed way more than I should have at this, but it’s true 2020 has been a year…

We’re just one wrong word away from the occult… may dog have mercy on us all

Ha, I take pride in stealing this…

There aren’t many shows like ‘the Boys’ which I urge you to check out, and this is also sound advice…

Truthfully I closed the door with my PS3 by playing GTA V and opened my PS4 door with it also, perhaps I won’t be doing it with the PS5...

Yep and we shall finish with this on the horizon… Thanks for tuning in folks, see you in the next one!

Weekly Writing Inspiration #12

Its Friday somehow/ yet again…

I’ve had a semi productive week but only when I have shared memes will it reach completion. Some of them may serve as writing inspiration…

Memes are life….

Ha! I enjoyed this more than I should have, damn you sexy Michael…

Don’t lie, you have a strong opinion about what font you use. I’m a times new roman guy, always have been, always will be…

Every cough, sore throat and sneeze could possibly be the end…

Heart warming author moment of the week…

It’s been around 10 days since Darke Awakening dropped and already we’ve got a pair of ratings, this one the first text review by fellow author Henry Cox – author of ‘Deceit of the Soul’ which I reviewed a while back.

I should really watch Breaking Bad again…

Witchcraft is a real thing…

And so with that, an actual inspirational quote, ends this weeks post. Thanks for tuning in…

Weekly Writing Inspiration #11

Memes and general writing wholesomeness that you may get something from, that’s the name of this game. A new week and new month – 2020 is slipping away, now my main writing goals are done, I can only welcome the end…

Did you watch the debate? Even though I was at work all night I chose to watch Mega Shark Vs Octopus instead… that says it all really plus I’ve had enough of the clown politics this side of the pond

Ha, I love shit jokes, mainly because I am one…

Who remembers cookie crisp? Is that still a thing? I’m in my 30’s so its plain tasteless wheat for cereal these days…

Keanu – patron saint of the Internet. The Matrix is well worth a re watch… (other Keanu films are available)

DIY Meme of the week, selling paperbacks of a book that’s the 4th in a series that 15 or so people have read is one hell of a victory in my eyes. You know who you are, thank you!

But wait there’s more…

Having sold every book I have available including the new one is a new record, it took 5 years to achieve that! Good things take time…

2020 is officially the best year ever for the Hall of Information Blog. Views are the best they have ever been. we overtook last year and we’ve just started October!

That wraps up another weekly writing inspiration post, I hope you were either inspired or amused. Catch you in the next one. To those who have grabbed a copy of Darke Awakening, thank you. Peace and love. Rock and roll man!

Weekly Writing Inspiration #10

Sharing memes that may or may not be inspirational for writing but everyone is welcome here. Either way this is week 10, let’s dive in…

Ah the posture, I had this once… my original writing ‘desk’ was a bed for about 5 years. Book 1 Open Evening was drafted in said bed…

Lisa Simpson is normally the moral compass/party pooper but yep, this all day long…

YouTube right? Another platform would be nice… and also, I really don’t appreciate the double ads these days…

Microsoft taking over Bethesda, this might turn out okay.

Shout out/Interaction of the week

It’s wonderful to be mentioned for my reviews especially from awesome authors like Villimey, you should give her a follow on the Tweet machine and check out my review of her vampire book – it’s part of a series!

Some truly wonderful folks that seem to believe in me have pre ordered book six and since this tweet the numbers have increased! You guys rock!

It’s coming next week!

September 2020 has been a record breaking month with over 100 paid book sales for the first time. Of course I’ve shared my marketing methods here and here. I also have plenty of other book and blogger resources . The plan right now is to finish drafting an authoring and blogging guide book which should be released in the first half of next year….

As you can see the viewing figures are exceptional in the past few years and they jumped by four fold compared to the first years we shall name the tumbleweed era. Much of this success is a combination of a few readers believing in me and putting out consistent content. Ride that wave bloggers, when the views come in, capitalise on it. I’m lucky enough to have loyal readers!

As always thanks for scrolling and for the support. See ya in the next one… and go pre order Darke Awakening.

Weekly Writing Inspiration #9

It’s Wednesday, we’re half way through another week and that much closer to the end… while that sounds ominous it is just an unfortunate fact that most of us ignore on a daily basis. What was I doing, oh yeah memes, some of which could serve as writing inspiration, either way the Hall of Information hopes you get something out of this post…

This an appropriate start and pretty accurate to what I spend most of my time doing online… got to love Professor X.

Ha!

I mean, everyone loves a sale even if the discount is minuscule and mainly in our own heads…

I’m very much a proprietor of wearing whatever is comfy these days so fair enough…

Life for real sucks most of the time but sometimes it can be good…

This is indeed truth. Have you pre ordered my latest book yet? Some of you have which is great, most of you haven’t which makes me sigh deeply. Details below… (click on it for the link)

Can ya guess which side represents science and which side represents the media?

It ain’t easy being Freddy…

And if you’re gonna have a Freddy meme you might as well have a Jason one too! This is some ominous shit… (although I don’t know if there is any truth, it’s a meme afterall)

Well that wraps up another week of memes. Thanks for scrolling. Rock and roll man!

Weekly Writing Inspiration #8

It’s a new month and yet another week so with that in mind it’s time to share memes. Perhaps there’s something amongst all this you will find inspirational, either way September is going to be the busiest month of all time for me. If you hear the faint sound of an explosion in the distance around the 1st of October, it’s just me, exploding….

I suppose we can all relate, although things have been okay-ish this year apart from the global pandemic….. okay maybe I am in denial and I should just accept this year for the dumpster fire it is…

Ah, those tricky interview questions that require an answer outside of logic….

Rock and roll man! Respect to the fans….

Don’t get me started with the Youtube. Would you like premium? Please start this survey, have another ad…. WE NEED A NEW VIDEO PLATFORM without these things…. do something, someone, oh hello Bill Gates…

Good ol’ Bill…. but windows 8 was crap… no hard feelings though, especially if that vaccine works and you create a new platform to rival Youtube! I’m not asking for much

Feel free to copy and paste this all around writers, that’s what I did…. let us browse past the $10,000 part quietly….

And this here graphic shows August was my best ever month for organic book sales ever – no promo, no enhancements just natural sales!

Speaking of Book Sales, this month like I mentioned will be busy and will also see the release of my 6th book Darke Awakening which is part of the Order of the Following Series.

Other books in that series will be on promo starting with Cemetery House which will be FREE to download today and the next day – then discounted over the weekend. If you like a Halloween vibes type of read then check it out, it works as a stand alone also and it NEEDS REVIEWS!

You can also expect another Hall of Information Interview very soon! Stay tuned folks, stay positive but for the love of God do not test positive. Thanks for reading, hope you were moderately inspired. Peace out, rock and roll man!

Weekly Writing Inspiration #7

Memes and inspiring things to help get us through the week. That’s the hope anyway so here’s a few things that are either funny, fun or have some level of inspiration…

Mixtusmedia is my go to Instagram account for all things book marketing advice.

It’s nearly the spookiest time of the year – my favourite time of the year also!

Don’t mention Green Day….

That also extends to anyone working within the hospitality or serving industry, although I haven’t been anywhere like that since February… manners are free!

I’ve had some wonderful interactions with fellow authors and bloggers recently and this is one of them! Check out Henry’s book ‘Deceit of the Soul’ here – it’s a thrilling ride about the outbreak of the pandemic….

Yeah, there seems to be a growing group of folks trying to poach their way into the Twitter writing community by just randomly and emptily asking for book recs knowing desperate writers will interact… I mean you could just be more genuine in terms of interaction… Twitter ain’t hard to master…

And we will finish on this subject. Quite recently I’ve been processing my high school experience, maybe because this year I’ve been able to reflect or because it’s 15 years since it ended for me.

For anyone having to face the daunting idea of going back to school, or those who have been through it, I know how it feels and things do get better. Hang in there!

To everyone who reads and continues to support the Hall of Information, thank you! We’re on the path to August being the best month of the year for this blog in terms of reads and views. Rock and roll man!
