We are finally here after what feels like one heck of a journey paved by the incredible support of this blog’s wonderful following and wider social media support. Everything I have learned to get to this point has been laid out in a book which I hope helps change the way indie creatives and bloggers are seen.
Our works and our words are valid. Our creativity deserves to stand shoulder to shoulder with every other generation of creatives in history. This is my labour of love to the wider writing community and to everyone ever thinking of picking up a pen to create.
What I have laid out, I hope serves someone as a guiding light into the unknown to find success. It is my belief that helping others, will make the writing industry better for the greater good and this is the book that I am going to use to do that. It has been a long but overall rewarding journey to see this book being so well received, especially so with the perfect pre-order run – thank you everyone.
This is Consistent Creative Content: A guide to Authoring and Blogging in the Social Media Age. Out now!
‘Consistent Creative Content: A Guide to Authoring and Blogging in the Social Media Age’ will be my 7th release and this time we’re going non-fiction!
Some of you might already know that I’ve drafted an Authoring and Blogging Self-Help guide book and now this is the official announcement post.
Over the past nearly 3 years this blogging effort has been at the very forefront of my growth/success in the wider arena of social media and authoring. While I have you to thank, kind reader and follower or buyer of my books, the successes and learning opportunities of being a blogger and indie author has inspired me to lay down such experiences into a guide that aims to not only show you how I got here, but to hopefully inspire anyone looking to journey into the foray of blogging and authoring themselves.
SoJust what credentials do I have to back all of this up?
As you can see from the above graphic, my blogging views over the past 3 year have skyrocketed and continually grown. This image will hopefully back up the theories and methods I used to get them within this guide. Of course it won’t all be blogging centric, there is also a huge portion of the book dedicated to authoring, from the basics of choosing which publishing path to take, the basic anatomy of a book all the way to book promotion methods. There are even some lesser known hints and tips I’ve kept to myself until now. I will even cover social media platforms in both basic and advanced detail. There’s even a whole section dedicated to book reviewing. Trust me this is a plethora of authoring and blogging. I have even included a brief memoir that I hope will inspire and influence along with a breakdown or roadmap of how I published 6 books in 5 years.
Simply put, this guide will hopefully inspire or help anyone looking to get into blogging or authoring at any level. Those who are like me and combine both will benefit the most.
Over the weekend the Hall of Information passed it’s 500th blog post with an important but brief talk about mental health. It’s been one hell of a ride to reach that many posts and it’s a celebration worth noting while being aligned with such an important cause. We are now crossing that mark with a special announcement.
Those who’ve tuned in across my other social media platforms will know on Friday I shared the news of my 7th Book and so this is the official announcement post!
2021 will see the release of my first foray into non-fiction with a guide book that relays many of my experiences from nearly seven years in the social media blogging/authoring game.
I’m no life coach or guru in anything in particular but over the years my efforts have gathered some success through trial, error and hard work, all of which has been inspired by the power of good people following me. The many experiences I’ve had in authoring and blogging in the social media age have now been fashioned into a manual that can hopefully help others. Having always been accepted and helped by the writing community I consider this book a way of giving back to those who essentially made me.
My credentials are statistics that speak leaps and bounds more than I ever could and so earlier this year I felt compelled to use them as fuel. These days you can fit this blog’s views for all of 2016 into just an average month and just last month (September) I sold more books in that time than I normally do in the space of a year. We’ve grown and grown since the early days and there are a plethora of folks I have to thank for backing and sticking with me. Some I do intend to name in this project which will focus on many elements of being and author and blogger from basics of social media, marketing your work and yourself along with some never before shared stuff.
This ‘success’ I’ve had comes from years of work and I have found the best way to convince anyone to invest in me, is to be genuine. You’ll find that in my next book and so I hope those in the authoring and blogging game, and those at any level joins me with Consistent Creative Content: A guide to authoring and blogging in the social media age. Coming in the first half of 2021.
